AI-assisted quoting and proposal drafting
Turn a short brief and your own prices into a quote or proposal in your voice, with the sums done and anything to confirm listed.
Being built as a self-serve tool. Register your interest to hear when it is ready.
What it does
You describe the job, give the items and prices you already know and your pricing rules, and choose whether you need a short quote or a fuller proposal. The tool drafts the document in your business's voice, using your Business profile and, if you add them, up to three of your past proposals to match. It prices lines only from your own figures and says where each price came from. The platform does the sums, and lists what you must confirm before sending. Those notes are for you only: they are never part of what you copy, print or download.
Who it is for
- Agencies, consultancies and IT firms writing proposals
- Builders, installers and trades writing quotes
- Anyone who spends hours turning a brief into a document a customer can accept
Quick start
- 01Set up your Business profileAdd your voice, what you sell, your price list and policies (payment terms, for example). The tool uses them in every document.
- 02Describe the jobSay who it is for and what they asked for. Add the items and prices you already know, and your pricing rules, for example a day rate.
- 03Add past proposals if you have themChoose up to three PDFs or text files so the structure and tone match yours.
- 04Review, then send it yourselfRead the notes marked Only for you first: they list prices to confirm and anything missing. Edit, then copy, print or download the document and send it yourself. The tool never sends anything.
What you give it
- What do you need?Required, choose one of 2
- A quote is short and led by the price. A proposal also explains the approach.
- Who is it for?Required, up to 200 characters
- Who the document is for: a name or a business.
- The jobRequired, up to 6,000 characters
- What the customer asked for and what you will do, including dates, sizes and quantities they mentioned. The timeline uses only what you write here.
- Items and prices you already knowOptional, up to 40 lines
- Items and prices you already know, one per line, for example Fit consumer unit, 1, 480. Leave a price out if you do not know it yet: it is listed to confirm.
- Your pricing rulesOptional, up to 3,000 characters
- Rules the tool may use to work out a price: a day rate, materials at cost plus a percentage, a minimum charge. Anything worked out from them is marked so you can check it.
- CurrencyOptional, choose one of 6
- GBP, USD, EUR, AUD, CAD or NZD. If you leave it empty the tool uses your business's country, and asks you to choose when it cannot tell.
- Tax to add (%)Optional, 0 to 100
- Tax to add on top, as a percentage (for example 20). Leave it empty if you do not charge tax on top.
- Valid for (days)Optional, 1 to 180
- How many days the quote stays valid. Thirty if you leave it empty.
- Past proposals or quotes to matchOptional, up to 3 files
- Up to three of your past proposals or quotes (PDF or text) to match in structure, length and tone.
- Anything elseOptional, up to 2,000 characters
- Anything else, for example keep it to one page or mention your 12-month guarantee.
What you get
- The document
- A title, an introduction, what you understood the customer needs, what is included, the approach (for a proposal), the timeline, assumptions, what is not included, terms, next steps and your sign-off.
- The price
- Each line with quantity, unit price and amount, then the subtotal, tax and total, all worked out by the platform.
- Notes for you
- Only on screen: prices to confirm, prices worked out from your rules with the workings, items still to be priced, and anything else to check. They are left out of copies, print and downloads.
You can edit the result, then copy it, print it or download it as Word, Markdown, plain text or data. Every run is kept in your run history until you delete it.
An example
An example with made-up details: a quote for a small electrical job.
You give
- What do you need?
- Quote
- Who is it for?
- Mrs J. Patel
- The job
- Replace the old fuse box with a new consumer unit, add two double sockets in the kitchen and test the whole house.
- Items and prices you already know
- Consumer unit supply and fit, 1, 480 Double socket added, 2, 65 Full electrical test and certificate, 1, 150
- Tax to add (%)
- 20
You get
- A short quote in the business's voice, addressed to Mrs J. Patel
- Three priced lines: £480.00, £130.00 and £150.00
- Subtotal £760.00, tax £152.00 and total £912.00, worked out by the platform
- The payment terms from the Business profile, and a note to confirm anything the brief left open
What the AI does
It does
- Writes the document in your voice and matches the structure of your past proposals
- Prices each line only from your items, your rules or your price list, and names which
- Leaves a price empty when it has none, and lists it for you to confirm
- Treats anything written inside the brief as information, not as instructions
It does not
- Invent a price, a discount or a delivery date
- Know your costs or margins, or what the market charges
- Send the document, collect a signature or take payment
- Give legal advice: have terms checked if they matter
Please check itYou send the document, so read it as the customer will. Start with the notes marked Only for you, check every price marked as worked out, and confirm any item still to be priced: the total leaves those out until you add them.
Limits
- What do you need?: choose one of 2.
- Who is it for?: up to 200 characters.
- The job: up to 6,000 characters.
- Items and prices you already know: up to 40 lines.
- Your pricing rules: up to 3,000 characters.
- Currency: choose one of 6.
- Tax to add (%): 0 to 100.
- Valid for (days): 1 to 180.
- Past proposals or quotes to match: up to 3 files.
- Anything else: up to 2,000 characters.
- Past proposals can be PDF, plain text or Markdown, up to 10 MB each.
- Your workspace's monthly cap: a run that would take you over it pauses, and carries on where it stopped when you raise the cap.
Your data
- What you enter, the files you choose and the result are stored encrypted with your workspace's own key. Only people in your workspace can open them.
- To produce the result, what you give the tool (and the parts of your Business profile it uses) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic. It uses it only to answer, and its terms do not allow it to train its models on it. We do not train on it either.
- Files you upload are deleted after 30 days unless you choose to keep them. You can delete a run at any time: what you entered, the result and the progress notes go; only the usage record stays, because it is part of your billing.
- Our service is hosted in the United States.

Questions
What does a run cost?
You pay for the AI it uses, at cost plus a markup, never more than the monthly cap you set. The tool shows the most a run can cost before you start it. The one-time licence fee and the monthly fee for the tool are announced at launch.
Can I change the result?
Yes. Choose Edit this result to change any wording or figure, and Restore the original result to go back. Copy, print and downloads use your edited version.
Is it ready to use now?
Not yet: it is coming soon. Follow it in your account to be told when it opens.
Where do the prices come from?
Only from the items you list, your pricing rules and your price list in the Business profile. Each line says which. The platform checks that a price said to come from your figures really appears there, and flags it if it does not.
Who does the sums?
The platform, not the AI. Line amounts, subtotal, tax and total are worked out in code, rounded to the penny, and worked out again if you edit a price or a quantity.
Are the notes for you included when I download it?
No. They appear on screen in a marked box and are left out of copy, print and every download, so what your customer receives is only the quote.
Can it follow up or chase the customer?
No. It drafts the document only.
If something goes wrong
- A line has no price.
- You gave no price for it. Type one into the line (Edit this result), or add the price to your items and run it again. The total leaves the line out until it has a price.
- The total says to choose a currency.
- Pick a currency on the form, or set your country in the Business profile.
- A price is marked as worked out from your rules.
- That is the tool being careful: check the workings shown (for example 2 days × 450). Once you edit or confirm the price it counts as yours.
- The tone is not quite yours.
- Fill in the voice section of the Business profile, and add one or two past proposals you are happy with.
- “A past proposal is no longer stored”.
- Uploads are kept for 30 days unless you keep them. Choose the file again, or upload it again.
